Looks stunning next to yellow sunflowers. Highly nutritious grain can be harvested and cooked like rice or popped like popcorn. Amaranth grain is high in protein and other nutrients. Leaves can be picked young for salads or steamed like spinach. Outside, sow seed after average last frost date. Inside, start 4-6 weeks before last frost.
